Join Takenya and Grace for this multi-age, multi-media art class! We've decided to combine our age groups this year in order to focus on learner centered instruction where we cater to students stage of learning and development. Depending on the class size, we will be adding one or two assistants to our TAG team, so that we can offer each student individual attention.
This semester based, year long program explores many art mediums, including but not limited to, painting with water colors, tempera paint, and acrylic paint. We will go over elements of design, value techniques, contour line drawing, 1D, 2D & 3D perspective, how to draw faces, still lives in different mediums, op art, line, color pastels, positive and negative space. There will be sculpting, candle making, and much more!
If you are a returning student, we will be building on concepts and projects that students explored last year.
TAG classes are $300 per semester, Mondays weekly for 1st-12th graders, September 12th-December 12th from Noon to 1:15PM.
